Meet Ian

Hey everyone. I like to think that I am a serial entrepreneur. It all started when I was a freshman at Rider University back in 1997. I launched my first tech company which I later sold in 2000. I went on to start two more companies. Along the way, I was pulled into the exciting world of Mortgages and was the Chief Marketing officer for an Independent Mortgage Bank. After 12.5 years it was time to return to my entrepreneurial roots. Partnering with Michael Veli to launch JobberFi. A Talent Marketplace for the Mortgage and Real Estate industry.

With a strong background in Marketing and Technology, I saw this as an opportunity to create a better way to fulfill recruiting and staffing needs. I am excited to help jobseekers find new and/or better opportunities to advance in their careers. I look forward to helping Companies grow while helping them save their resources.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending my free time with my family. I have 2 little ones that are a handful and a Cavapoo. For me, the gym is a must. I feel so much more focused starting my day with an intense gym session, 6 whole eggs, 1 slice of sourdough bread and a hot cup of coffee lol. More importantly, everyday on this earth is a blessing. In August of 2021, I had open heart surgery the old fashion way. I was cracked open (2x) and my aortic valve was replaced with a cow valve. Every once in awhile I will suddenly mooooo.

I was born and raised in NYC and now I enjoy the salt life in Jacksonville Beach, FL with my wife, daughter and mini poodle. When I’m not watching or playing sports, I’m managing my fantasy football teams. I like to celebrate all successful placements with a glass of scotch. Most importantly, I enjoy the simple pleasures in life like a day at the beach/park, hikes and of course ice cream with my amazing family!
